32.0 Noble Avenue is closed hours before the crest arrives... and any crossing of Cottonwood Creek must then be by boat... from east to west where the hospital is located. People living in south Guthrie west of the creek can evacuate only by routes to the west. Large areas suffer depths of 12 feet or more. Water levels will approach the highest in history of Guthrie when on April 28 1897... 200 settlers were drowned along Cottonwood Creek.
